3 Reasons to Choose Kimono in Yokohama

Why wear kimono in Yokohama?

1

The Scenery Is Extraordinary

Capture your moments on a hilltop overlooking Yokohama Harbor.

Harbor View Park (Rose Garden), Amerika-yama Park, Yamashita Park, Yokohama Chinatown, and Sankeien Garden (reservation required). The photo spots within walking distance of Kimono Station Rock 岩 offer a uniquely Yokohama landscape where ocean, greenery, and cityscape blend in harmony.

Fewer crowds, more time to take beautiful photos. An open, expansive backdrop that makes kimono truly shine.

2

Authentic Kimono Dressing

A Nationally Certified Level 1 Kimono Dressing Specialist will refine your look.

Kimono becomes truly beautiful only when it fits naturally with your body. At Kimono Station Rock 岩, dressing is performed by a Nationally Certified Level 1 Kimono Dressing Specialist — the real thing.

Adjusted to each individual’s body shape, the kimono stays in place, stays comfortable, and keeps you looking elegant from morning to evening.

3

Choose the Real Thing on the Day

When you book, just choose a date, time, and number of guests. You’ll choose your kimono on the day.

No need to decide “which kimono” at the time of booking. Come in, see the real thing, and choose in person.

Color, pattern, grade — find exactly what you want, right then and there. Because you can see the actual colors and textures, there’s no “it looked different online” disappointment.
